    Summons tons of allies to help her, high blight damage, high normal damage, lots of stuns and can even heal herself for about 1/3 of her health in one turn (kill the peasant + devour a minion). Also, 120% stun resist makes sure she won’t lose a single turn.

    Far too OP, in my opinion.

    (I intended for the damage to be high, I may notch it down a little but I will still keep it high. If the demand is greater, I will set the boss at a Level 3 or 4 dungeon. The design for this boss is experimental, I’m testing different settings to determine what is the best setting for this boss. It will be relatively high in difficulty but not too high, so if the populace of this forum outweigh my opinion, then I shall concede. Also, the stun chance on the Tail Swipe is pretty fair in my opinion, given that the average hero has a 80%-100% stun chance resist. So that’s like… a 50%-70% chance to be stunned, might decrease the value perhaps. Oh, and that blight skill? I’ll notch it down to 2 damage 3 round duration.)

    Changes will be met after I finish drinking the almighty cherry coke.

    Actually, stun resistance for heroes is between 20%-50%, so… uh… that won’t stun anyone now?
    I dunno… :/

    Also, you might want to edit your role play post.

    I’m going to agree with Unknown here that the Queen is really OP. She can deal up to 17 of a hero’s health (this is exactly half of a level 4 highwayman’s HP pool), along with a strong AoE blight; she can heal herself, her blight resistance is through the roof and her bleed and stun resist are nothing to scoff at, either (The level 4 highwayman has a 129% chance to inflict bleed and the level 4 Plague Doctor has a 129% base stun chance; this means that the Queen has a 49% chance to bleed and a 59% chance to be stunned). Not to mention she can summon carrion eaters, which can deal strong, single-target blight; or large carrion eaters, which are large creatures on par with the ghoul that deal truckloads of damage to marked targets.

    This is not to mention our lack of higher level characters, with the high cost and time investment of gearing up, training, and the overall difficulty of the dungeons. In fact, I think most of our heroes are around level 1.

    While you want a boss to be a tough fight, people will be less likely to send their characters on an expedition that they know will be a death sentence. Each of the canon bosses are tough, they have a weakness, whether it be in their mechanics or stats, that can be exploited. So I would say you should work on a strength, pick one or two things the Queen is really good at, and then a weakness, and then put everything else somewhere in the middle.

    Alright. I see now after a long analyse of my creation’s skills… that yes, they are overpowered overall. I will make appropriate changes.

    I swear, watching the walking dead makes me think everything has to be the hot shit in the public restroom.

    CHANGES MADE! EXECUTE ME IF I STILL CHEESED IT…

    I’m not sure it’s in keeping with the setting for any of the dungeons’ inhabitants to spare their opponents or indeed show any mercy at all.

    Meh. I just don’t like to think they’re all just bloodthirsty or extremely sociopath/racist/xenophobic beings, y’know. But I guess I’ll just stick with the condition of meeting him: kill 8 or more fishheads or plunge too deep into the Cove.

    On the contrary, I’d say a large part of what makes the Darkest Dungeon so, well, ‘Dark’ is the fact that all of its denizens are so inhumanly ruthless, cruel and unforgiving 🙂

    Boss Name = Queen Carrion Devourer
    -2nd Draft-
    WARRENS
    MISSION
    -STATS
    Max HP = 40
    DMG = 6-13
    Speed = 8
    ACC MOD = 0%
    Crit MOD = 12%
    Dodge Chance = 2
    Abilities-
    The Queen Beckons! – Once all carrion eaters have been eliminated, The Queen Devourer will call upon 1 carrion eaters or a RARE chance to summon a large carrion eater (5% chance, that’s pretty blood low.) depending on rank this may vary in amount.
    Putrid Aroma – The queen emits a foul poison into the air via pustules located on the side. Affects the entire party and has a blight chance of 60% and will damage the heroes with 2 damage for a 3 round duration.
    Devour The Peasant! – The Queen lunges forward towards hero, engulfing the hero in it’s maw. Does 6-13 damage and heals the queen (2-4 heal)
    Tail Swipe – The queen brings her tail forward, slashing and slugging the tail towards a hero with vicious action, Single Hero attack, damage 5-8, 60% move chance.
    Special Features –
    1st round, spawns with 2 normal carrion eaters, once dead the queen may only summon 1 upon the use of ‘The Queen Beckons!’
    The Queen may target one of her own creatures in order to heal herself, (2-4) or allow her to inflict a blight attack with Devour The Peasant next turn (2 damage 3 round duration.) This will be a rare occurrence for The Queen to utilise, so this may not even turn up.
    The Queen has 2 turns, may use skills randomly. Once all Carrion allies have been eliminated, once the next round has started, the Queen will use ‘The Queen Beckons on her 2nd turn. A stun may be used to counteract this but remains a low chance.
    [Ideas and feedback would be appreciated for the Special Features.]
    Backstory –
    Inside one of the many tunnels leading into the warrens, where shit and rotting flesh adorn the entrances. In one of those entrances, wailing and screaming of adventurers, fools and criminals can be heard echoing outside the entrance, along with the screeching of an unknown beast screaming with blood curdling fury from its victory. A few days ago, one survivor managed to crawl out of the tunnel, adorned with the blood of his friends, the blood of his own and the piss and shit that he writhed in down there. Before the survivor died from his wounds inside the Sanatorium, he spoke of a horrific creature lurking within the sludge, standing 9 feet tall or more and a gaping void with ripped flesh adorning its thick and stained fangs. The nurses could not tell if the adventurer was mad or exaggerating, but such a thing cannot be left to live… especially when the screams of the beast become louder each day.
    Resistances-
    BLEED = 50%
    BLIGHT = 80%
    MOVE = 200%
    DEBUFF = 700%
    STUN = 80%
    Rewards-
    Upon death, the heroes will have to cut open the beasts stomach in order to seek their reward. The lump sum of gold will be 1000. If the heroes decide to search further into the entrails, a trinket may be uncovered adorned with the blood, guts and bile of the creature and her prey. The Queens Fang (15% DMG buff, -20% bleed resist. OR The Queens forgotten offspring (much rarer), +40% Blight Chance, +10% DMG, +20% DMG received from Beasts, -20% Stress Resist.

    Similar however slightly smaller (9 foot in size), A circular maw, yellow tinted scales covered in bile and waste from the warrens, Instead of three eyes it’s one singular eye located above the maw and obviously not a magma version.

    I’ll try, but mistakes may be made during my DM so bear that in mind if you decide to go into an expedition as a DM
    (just not that experienced with being a DM that’s all.)
