(Before posting the ACTUAL THING, I would like to inform you people that this boss is not “ready” yet; I have to go through character development to get the character ready. Also, I would like some help for the boss sheet, as I am terrible with making up stats for bosses. Plus, this boss might never happen at all, because who knows what the RP will make? Maybe Célestien won’t go that way, who the fuck knows.)

    Name: Célestine the Hunter
    Type: Human
    MAX HP: 50
    DMG: 7-10
    SPD: 5
    ACC MOD: +10% Bonus
    CRIT: 5%
    DODGE: 35

    APPEARANCE:

Célestine’s regalia is but a souvenir as of now. She wears a Wolf’s pelt, the head of the beast partly hiding her face. Her Musket is still as clean and nobly, and her hat hangs loosely on her belt. She sometimes erupt out of her bloodthirsty trance, her primal rictus leaving her face to reveal a broken woman, aspiring only to sleep for a long, long time. Her face look pale then, and she is dazed for a moment, trying to remember what has led her here, and why did she give in to the Eye.

    ABILITIES

    Judgement:
AoE attack. Mark the two adventurers at the front of the two at the back and give them a DODGE debuff of -20%.

    Execution:
Célestine fire her Musket upon a previously marked target, dealing a brutal amount of damage. +50% DMG vs Marked, +5% CRIT vs Marked

    Retreat!:
Célestine take out her sidearm and fire at a random ennemy before retreating. The attack has 50% chance to miss, and if it hits, it’ll deal -50% DMG.
It causes two random bandits to spawn on the two front ranks, and give her a +4 SPD buff that last 3 rounds.

I used to be your collegue:
Stress attack that hits the entire party.
Célestine take her hat in two fingers and lower it to her chest, reminding her friends that she was exactly like them before the forces of corruption claimed her mind. Affect only: Ant, Tybalt, Grom.

    RESISTANCES

    BLEED: 30%
    BLIGHT: 50%
    DEBUFF: 30%
    MOVE: 20%
    STUN: 20%

    REWARDS:

    500 Gold per surviving adventurer.

    TRINKETS:

Runaway’s Musket: A fine Musket, well maintained and deadly. +15% DMG against Human. Musketeer only.
Célestine’s Hat: The lucky hat of the Musketeer, given to her by the late Sophy. +10 DODGE

    BACKSTORY:

Driven to madness by the visions of the Eye that haunt her ever since her first foray into the Cove, playing on her insatiable bloodthirst and desire for a challenge, Célestine fled into the Weald, taking her hunt to the next level by targeting humans rather than monsters.
Murdering messengers and threatening the trade route on the Old Road, she became an important threat to the supplies of the Hamlet.
Hunting bandits at first, she became the warboss of a small band of bandits by killing their former leader and anyone who dared oppose her.
Perfecting the bandit’s skills through expeditive trials, she made a capable fighting force out of them, and led them fanatical in their faith in the Eye.
Being Vvulf’s Lieutenant, she wear a wolf’s pelt, and so do her hunters. And yet, behind this façade of authority and carnage, lies a broken woman who aspired only to satisfy her needs without hurting the ones she cared about.

    NOTICE

“One of your former collegues has taken up arms and started a reign of terror in the Weald. No-one is safe from her or her hunters; the Old Road might be endangered. Dispose of this corrupted soul and confirm the kill. Watch out, as she knows the territories of the Weald more than you do…”

Reward: 500 Gold (per hero who survives)

    -The Heir

    SPECIAL NOTE:

Célestine is able to surprise-attack the adventurers while they are camping or entering a room/corridor before fleeing. The frequency of such ambushes is up to the Game Master.

Damn Nick, if Tybalt survives the Cove, shit gonna get real.

Once is happenstance, twice is coincidence and three times is enemy action.

Just a tip, you might want to make Runaway’s musket more powerful, because right now it’s just a weaker musketeer-only version of Human Slayer ring.

Also, why would Celestine even do such a thing? O_O

It’s not made yet Unknown. But a step has been made forward her turning.
Depending on how things roll in the character development, she may or may not become Vvulf’s Lieutenant.

I would like to see I used to be your collegue to only work on people that knew her before she went rogue, unless you plan on some appearance-altering corruption.

    So who’s gonna play Vvulf?
Cause I have had my eye on that role for a while.
    He seems like great fun.

    First Draft:
    Random Encounter, found everywhere.
    Mini Boss name- The Echo
Appearance- Can Vary from player to player. A towering Phantom of 8ft, looks as if it’s a figment of the players imagination of all monsters killed by said player. With darkness and shadows shrouding it, they make the thing look like it’s constantly morphing into something else.
    -Stats
    Max HP =25
    Damage =3-9
    Speed –9
    Dodge- 10
    ACC MOD –10
    Crit MOD –5%
    Protection-0

    -Abilities-
Role reversal – Huants the players mind by causing them to see the death of a monster they have slayed from the monsters view, and feeling the horrible death. High stress ranging from 10-20 medium chance to hit.

They have cometh Summons one to two monsters from the party’s kill count of one player,to the battle. Cannot summon two spaced enemies like a giant or other mini bosses. High chance of working, and provides 5-10 stress to the player he summoned the monster from, using said players mind and Kills it has made.

Karmamic retribution Similar to the Man at arms repost. The echo reposts itself but instead of striking back itself. It uses one of the attacks from a monster the player has killed. Lasts 2 rounds, attacks cause damage equivalent to that monsters lowest damage. Example, a rabid hound causes one damage and bleed with a chance of Rabies. It also cannot use monsters attacks that aren’t from that area lvl, like if you meet it in the cove at lvl 3 it can’t use A lvl 1 Rabid hounds attack.

True Form The echo shows its true form, a 5ft man horribly disfigured with pain in his eyes, along with a wailing scream that lasts until it switches back. Cannot attack other than summoning a monster. Buffs itself with +3 speed, +3 dodge, debuffs itself -10 protection and -50% both blight and bleed resistance. Causes high stress of 10-40 to all players. And cannot use the move unless it uses all of its other moves 1-2 times.
    -Resistances
    BLEED – 100% (-50% true form)
    BLIGHT – 100% (-50%true form)
    MOVE – 50%
    DEBUFF – 50%

Possible Rewards – Low chance of getting Echos wrath/ increases stress damage received by 25% increases damage by 25%

Medium chance of getting Madmans pedant/ increases stress resistance by 25% decreases damage by 25%

High chance of getting 1000gold- +6 heirlooms belonging to that area. Busts, portraits ect.

Per person- 1k gold upon its death.

    Backstory/ Notice
“It is everywhere, there hasn’t been a single place it hasn’t been. The cove, warrens, Weald, ruins, everywhere other than the town which I am relieved to find. Some call me mad, but there are enough people in this town that have seen it as well. I thought it was just a saying but I was wrong, I was so terribly wrong. The Echo’s of my past will come to haunt me. And that is what we have begun to call it, The Echo For what else can we call that deathly shadow fiend that haunts us with our past at its finger tips. Be careful, for if you find it…… Well, let’s just say you’ll find your sanity missing.” Were the words spoken by almost any adventurer that had returned from their travels, along with townsfolk. The rumors about it had the Heir make a notice for it for anyone venturing out, to warn them and to motivate them to try and destroy it for a nice reward was put for the destruction of the so called Echo.

    Name: Nicholas the Plague Knight
    Type: Human / Eldritch
    MAX HP: 150
    PROTECTION: 20%
    DMG: 12-17
    SPD: 0
    ACC MOD: NONE.
    CRIT: 7%
    DODGE: 0

    APPEARANCE:

Donning Thuleon’s armor and spending mounths inside it, the formerly pure silver armor has been recoated in a sickening green due to the prolounged exposure inside the Weald. Nichola’s organs are no longer vital to him anymore – his guts are freely hanging from the hole in his chestplate, and bits of flesh keep falling as he walk. He is extremely slow due to the amount of flesh and excrements he has been building up; his armors is covered in warts and poisonous spores, looking like they are about to explode and coat unsuspecting adventurers in their foul content.

    ABILITIES

    Rend of the Plagued One
Nicholas swing his corrupted sword at an ennemy to corrupt him and damage his body. 50% chance of inflicting blight.

    Lord of Decay
Nicholas let his body unleash the grandeur of the Plague, warts exploding and his now-useless organs shooting out of his engrossed ribcage. Cause enormous stress damage at the whole party, and has 60% chances to blight. Give Nicholas a 20% DMG debuff for the two next rounds.

    Vomit:
Nicholas vomits upon two random targets with profusion, coating them into his corrupted fluids, shooting out from the hole in his helmet. Cause minor stress damage and has 50% chance to blight. Doesn’t inflict much physical damage.

    Heavy strike:
The former crusader strike with force at the two targets in front of him, having 40% chances to stun.

    Gift of the Plague:
The Plague Knight burst out in laughter as he heals himself thanks to the gifts the Plague has bestowed upon him. Heal 8-15 HP at the end of each round, automatic, doesn’t take up a turn.

    RESISTANCES

    BLEED: 60%
    BLIGHT: 200%
    DEBUFF: 10%
    MOVE: 20%
    STUN: 90%

    REWARDS:

    1500 Gold per surviving adventurer.

    TRINKETS:

Calidorn’s Armor: Remnants of the armor of yet another fallen crusader, still covered in the putrefied flesh of Nicholas. A testament of the powers of corruption, but very useful when it comes to facing those who use the Plague themselves… +100% Blight Resistance, -20% disease resistance, +15% stress damage

Sword of Decay: A rusty, battered sword, covered in fungus in some place, dry blood still present on the blade, this weapon is sinister, but can change the balance of a battle, should its wearer be strong enough to withstand its power… +10% Melee Damage, +7% Melee Crits, -50% Blight Resistance, -20% disease resistance.

Set of the Blighted: Should anyone decide to be foolish enough to wear the full set of the restaured armor and the sword of decay, they will be filled with the strenght of the malignant spirit lurking withing the armor, thankful for its restauration – but at a terrible price… -100% Disease resistance, +200% Blight resistance, +100% Bleeding resistance, +20% Melee damage, +10% Melee crits, +25% stress damage, -5 SPD, -80% Debuff resistance.

    BACKSTORY:

No more is the zealous knight of the Torch Bearers. Making the mistake to give in to the whispers in Thuleon’s armor, which he salvaged from his former brother after he fell to madness in the crusades, promising him strenght and untold power, Nicholas was trapped inside the cursed piece of wargear, unable to remove it. Leaving the church in shame, he resurfaced mounths later, now no more than a putrid agent of pestilence, rivalising even the Hag. Intending to spread the gifts of his lord, he repeadetly attacked the trade route, abducting live humans when he could to experiment on them, changing them in horrifying masses of blighted flesh. While his resilience has been drastically increased, most of his organs no longer vital, he spends every second of his existence in eternal putrefaction, moving slowly toward his next target to “free from the suffering of unperfection.”

    NOTICE

“One of your former collegues has been claimed by the powers of corruption. Transformed into a mass of blighted flesh, he is threatening the trade route and brings yet more danger to the Weald. Be wary; reports indicate that he masters blight and is extremely tough. Bring me the armor of this forsaken Knight.”

Reward: 1500 Gold (per hero who survives)

    -The Heir

    SPECIAL NOTE:

Special ennemies will appear throughout the dungeon to get to Nicholas, may it be humans corrupted by his foul methods or wildlife claimed by the Decay he spawned.
