Apologies Vannertee. I’ll try to overlook these errors as soon as possible.

However, in my defence I didn’t intend for her to appear like that. I was going for like, fur armour, like covering her entire body minus her forearms with severals pelts stitched together. The thick cloth wrapping around her breasts isn’t visible until taken off however I’ll do some editting regardless. Again, sincerest apologies, I’ll try to be more clear.

    I swear I edited out the ‘Two pairs of eyes part’ >o<;

    Temporary Acceptance:
    -Tenita

    Official Acceptance:
    -Florence Novel

    IMPORTANT

Temporary acceptance is just a means to greenlight characters from one mod; ala myself.

This is not an official approval, and is subject to change. So be ready to pause your RP in lieu of potential conflicts other Mods see.

These characters can act within the Hamlet normally, but may not go on expeditions.

Be sure to have your character, at all times, ready to depart until officially accepted.

    PENDING
    -Vincent
(There is still ongoing discussion, although he is still temporarily accepted.)

    -Safron
She’s a really well-rounded character, and it’s really sad to say, but you can’t start with ‘experienced recruits,’ or characters above resolve level 0; which means they also can’t start with preexisting experience in the dungeons.

Please give everything on this site a thorough read-through; it’s all there for a reason.

    -Lucius
Please include at least a plot synopsis. The full backstory is not required, however.
The quirks, I feel, are still too mechanical. Please try to base them from a narrative standpoint, not a game or a modding one.

    Saffron

    Resolve level: 0

    -Appearance

    Age: 25

    Sex: Female

    Height: 4’10”

    Weight: 85 lbs

    Physical Description:

Saffron has short, black hair that barely touches the back of her shoulders. Her skin is dark and tanned, courtesy of the many years she has spent in deserts. Several freckles dot the center of Saffron’s nose, complimenting her skin color and adding variety to an otherwise plain face. Saffron’s eyes are hazel-colored, and her mouth is thin and thoughtful, suggesting a person skilled in listening to others. On Saffron’s left hip is a mole that grows slightly warm in the presence of the undead. Her fingernails are cracked and chipped, evidence of her time digging for relics and antiquities.

    Attire:

Saffron wears the simple robes of an antiquarian. Strapped to her rucksack are small pouches used for carrying treasure, charms, and anything else that might be valuable. Saffron’s robes are brown with gilded collars, and a red scarf is tied around her face. A black belt is wrapped tight across Saffron’s waist, but no so much that it impedes speed or mobility. Tied to her robes are various trinkets and relics, creating the look of an experienced treasure-hunter.

    -Biography

    Quirks:

    -Evasive (+5 dodge)

    -Quick Reflexes (+2 speed)

    -Nervous (+10% stress damage)

-Curious (Obsessed with the acquisition of knowledge)

    Synopsis:

Saffron was born to a small clan of nomads known as the Desert Falcons. These nomads scoured their desert home in search of gold and trinkets. At an early age, Saffron was taught how to discover relics that others would overlook, and to use magic that few knew existed. When Saffron was of age, she traveled with her friends to an ancient tomb in search of treasure. Unfortunately, Saffron and her companions were no match for the terrible monsters lurking inside. Terrified, Saffron fled, leaving her companions to die. Unable to face her clan, Saffron went to the hamlet, drawn by the lure of wealth and knowledge.

    Misc. Notes:

Saffron has a small scar on her right ankle. This injury resulted from a large spider that almost ended up crippling Saffron with its poisonous bite. Saffron doesn’t like to talk about her scar, as it bring up bad memories. Instead, she prefers changing the subject whenever it’s mentioned.

    -Skills & Equipment

    Weapons:

Saffron carries a exquisite knife skilled in carving the flesh from her enemies, along with a censer capable of simple magic. In a side pouch, Saffron carries flash powder. This substance is strong enough to blind foes, if only for a short while.

    Armor:

Saffron wears no armor, and her robes provide meager protection. Tucked at her side is an empty rucksack. Although useless for combat, It’s perfect for transporting treasure and antiquities that Saffron may come across.

    Other gear:

Saffron carries a Bag Of Marbles. (+5 dodge) This trinket was a lucky find on her first expedition, and she keeps it as a reminder of her fallen friends. Saffron also carries several exotic powders and spices, capable of heightening a friends resilience or crippling an enemy if properly mixed.

    Strengths:

    -Inquisitive and adventurous.

-Cares deeply about everyone around her.

-Would rather die than willfully abandon friends.

    Weaknesses:

    -Easily scared.

    -Secretly doubts herself.

    -Painfully shy and introverted.

-Only opens up around close friends.

-Hates herself for abandoning her companions.

Alright, so technically we don’t allow to start with trinkets, but the statistics rarely matter in the RP. With that in mind, I’m going to temporarily accept Saffron (which means she’s free to post in the main thread).

    Modeste
    Resolve level: 0

    -Appearance
    Age: Allegedly 32
    Sex: Male
Physical Description: Approximately six feet tall. Stocky of build, though difficult to tell under his armor and paraphernalia.
Attire: Typical bounty hunter regalia. Helmet and mask completely hiding his identity, padded leather armor, heavy gloves and boots, weapons and tools strapped to holsters and pouches.

    -Biography
    Quirks: Man Hater, Nocturnal
Synopsis: A former noble, now landless and scarred. A score to settle.
Full: Up until a year ago, Antoinne De La Croix was a baronet and soldier who served his lord faithfully despite the machinations of the court. But his life changed forever when Count Abelard, a long time enemy of his family, had his wife and children murdered and his holdings taken from him on trumped up charges. De La Croix himself was taken to Abelard who promptly slashed his throat and threw his body down a mine shaft. Miraculously, De La Croix survived. Healing himself with bandages and cauterizing herbs, he crawled to freedom, cursing his enemy. Since then he has taken on the life of an anonymous bounty hunter, hoping one day to get close enough to Abelard to have his vengeance.
Misc. Notes: Is very careful not to show his face, but sometimes his neck can be glimpsed, showing a jagged slash across the larynx. He smells of obscure spices. Voice is somewhat raspy, as if his throat were damaged somehow. Has a bitter demeanor and an acid tongue.

    -Skills & Equipment
    Weapons: One-handed axe, grappling hook
Armor: Padded leather with helmet, gloves and boots.
Other gear: Flashbangs, rope, basic medical kit, various bounty notices
Strengths: Good physical shape, intelligent, relentless in his pursuit of a quarry
Weaknesses: Finds it hard to make friends due to his abrasive personality. Somewhat easily blinded by light.

"Whoever had been here before me had taken their life with them, leaving an engineered vampire of wood, tar paper, and detritus that longed to fasten itself onto a new soul and live again through another being. Memories lurked among the cobwebs: memories that were not mine, hidden from the callous observer, yet clawing at their confinement, eager to moan their tales of unknown things."

    Miron Spectre
    Resolve level: 0

    -Appearance
    Age: 39
    Sex: Male
Physical Description: Around 6 foot 5 inches in height with a medium sized build. He has a classic buzz cut, but due to his armor and helmet he wears most of the time, they aren’t usually seen that often.
Attire: The attire of the regular bounty hunter. Leather armor with a shoulder pad of thicker leather on his right shoulder. A bandolier stems from underneath it to his belt. Various pouches, and sacks are on his belt and two bomb shaped objects rest on the bandolier. He has a holster on his back for his axe, and around the shoulder of his left arm lies his rope and hook.

    -Biography
    Quirks: Hard-Skinned, Shocker, Thin Blooded
Synopsis: A drafted soldier who “quit” the army after three years, before becoming a bounty hunter with what he had left because of his thrill of the hunt not being able to be tamed after an army of a kingdom.
Full: Miron Spectre, his real name being Michael Revan, had a mediocre life as the son of a farmer. When he was around 33, with his sun-baked skin and a bored attitude, the kingdom he lived in went to war. All able-bodied men, including him, were drafted into the military. After battling, getting scars over his body, and in one particular battle, he was left for dead, thought to be, well, dead after being cut across the chest. He never returned to the military, but went to where he lived, his home town. After that, and trying to settle down into a calmer life of farming, he found he couldn’t fit in with a regular crowd, his thirst of the hunt and battle, unquenchable. Using his battered padded leather and a few other items, he became a bounty hunter with the alias Miron Spectre and he left behind his previous life. (This sounds like a background for a Man-at-Arms.)
Misc. Notes: Miron walks in an upright manner, with some respect for the way he walks. He has small scars on his chest and limbs, but has one special large cut across the torso area. He speaks in a quite deep voice. Doesn’t like or want to make friends, as any hes made has died one way or another. (Special items, notable scars, scents, how they walk, or talk, etc.)

    -Skills & Equipment
Weapons: Axe/Hatchet that’s usually one-handed. Rope and Hook.
Armor: Padded Leather armor, leather gloves and boots, as well as a metal helmet.
Other gear: A quite basic medical kit, with some herbs and bandages, 15 feet of coiled rope, a small dagger, flashbangs and a tinderbox.
Strengths: Has a hardy skin, and can be quite hard to be punched through, somehow. Good in making tactics and strategies.
Weaknesses: He can be blighted easier as his body has a lower defense rate against venom and poisons. He can also be stunned easier in combat, mostly because getting hit in the head with a metal helmet and with what hit him isn’t very good. His thrill of combat makes him not to care about others during combat, allies and foes to the point he won’t care about their injuries, and inabilities because they are in battle, they may die and he won’t care, just a small misstep in his mind.

I really like Miron’s CS! :^D There’s just a little bit I’d ask to change for the sake of details:

I’d like to see more said about his mental strengths and weaknesses, and maybe a little more elaboration? How hardy is his skin? To what extent does he not care about others (comrades or enemies)? What makes him suspectible to blight?

Alright, suppose I’ll get changing then, and, in that full biography, i didn’t mean it was quenched, but unquenchable.

EDIT: Changed some parts of the character sheet, nothing major, just changes trying to explain some of the stuff you asked for information that make sense for the character himself.

Alright, here’s my first of two character submissions. If anyone has any constructive criticism to share or wishes for improvements or more explanation somewhere, I am all ears!

    Edgar Milton
    Resolve level: 0
    Seeker Abomination

    Appearance

    Age: 26

    Sex: Male

Physical Description: Stands at about 5 feet 7 inches tall, with beige skin and a rather scrawny build due to having spent years without eating much in inprisonment. He has a wrinkly forehead, and green eyes with tired pouches under them. His hair is black and long enough to almost touch his shoulder, though most of it has been shaved off making most of his head bald save for a small part of the left side of his head.
In beast-form, he has crimson-red skin, long dark horns portruding out of the back of his head, a wolf-like snout with sharp teeth, dagger-long claws in place of nails and a much more muscular build that makes him stand at almost 6 feet tall.

Attire: Baggy green trousers that reach to his knees and a ragged brown cloak over his shoulder, and no shirt. His arms are bound in thick chains with multiple locks, and he has shackles around his wrists.

    Biography

Quirks: Hard-skinned, Stress faster, Nervous, Claustrophobia

Synopsis: A peaceful monk turned into a terrible abomination by years of imprisonment and experimentations – both alchemical and ritualistic.

Full: Edgar Milton was once a monk who lived in a remote town. He lived there rather peacefully with his mother, where he spent most of his time offering comfort to those who appeared to be feeling down. One day, when he was at the age of 22, his mother suggested that they would visit the town’s monestary, claiming that it would be an excellent opportunity for Edgar to further his studies of the holy texts, and also handed him a necklace along with it as a gift. Edgar was happy to oblige, and they headed to the monastery together. Little did Edgar know, however, what was about to ensue.
When they arrived it was revealed that it was no normal monestary, as it contained a secret sanitarium below ground where inhuman experimentations and rituals were conducted. Edgar was taken captive and became the sanitarium’s owners’ newest guinea-pig, and the mother was paid a handsome reward for bringing him in. Abandoned and betrayed, Edgar had to endure four years of endless torture and experimentation. At last the sadistic experimentors had completed the process of transforming Edgar into a carrier of a horrifying creature that would thirst for blood. They had recieved word of The Hamlet and the situation it was in some time ago, and decided that it would be a perfect place to test their latest weapon. A plague doctor, named Brenton, has been assigned to escort the ruined Edgar to the estate and see over him – both to make sure he is kept under relative control, but also to monitor his condition and its terrible possibilities.

Misc. Notes: (Special items, notable scars, scents, how they walk, or talk, etc.)
Edgar has a large ”A” branded on the bald right side of his head, forever marking him as an abomination and property of research. His skin, particularly on his back, is covered in scars left by whips intended to bring out his inner beast. His mannerisms tend to be reserved and quiet and he usually responds with body-language until he’s grown more comfortable with the person.

    Skills & Equipment

Weapons: In human form he has nothing but his iron manacles to swing and being able to spew toxic bile, while in beast-form he has long claws capable of nasty slashes, sharp teeth with a powerful jaw, and horns for ramming.

Armor: Edgar has little else but his thick chains to protect him – otherwise he is bare-chested. His condition, however, has given him a leathery hide that can migate some miniscule damage, but of course should not be relied upon to soak up harm like a plate.

Other gear: A small pendant around his neck that had been given to him as a gift by his mother. It’s a pale, light blue crystal with an oval shape attached to a silver necklace.

Strengths: Thanks to the eldritch blood that courses through his veins he has the ability to transform himself into a ferocious, werewolf-like monster that can deal good damage. He also tends to be rather supportive and caring for others around him in his human form.

Camping abilities: Anger management, Encourage, Eldritch blood.

Weaknesses: Edgar is usually rather slow to trusting others after the torment he had gone through. His time spent in the cells of the sanitarium has made him develop claustrophobia and is terrified of the thought of being taken to one ever again. Transforming himself can cause stress for both himself and those who witness it, and his unnatural condition tends to attract disgust from those of faith (this is optional, since it is based off game mechanics and can be removed for the sake of roleplaying). While transformed he can also have some trouble controlling himself and his temper.

And here’s my second one! (Gosh, I’ve been trying to post this for ages, but it always kept dissapearing after an edit I made :C)

    Brenton Chandler
    Resolve level: 0
    Seeker Plague doctor

    Appearance

    Age: 31

    Sex: Male

Physical Description: Semi tall and slim figure that stands at around 5 feet 10 inches with a black scruff on his almost pointy chin, has white skin and brown eyes. His jawlines are narrow with visable cheekbones.

Attire: Green hooded robes of cloth and goggles with dark glass over his eyes instead of a full plague doctor’s mask. He doesn’t tend to deal with foul smells or actual sickness much, and so he sees no need for a mask. Perhaps a rather foolish choice made by high ego, but only time will tell.

    Biography

Quirks: Early riser, Steady, Curious, Bloodthirsty, Egomania.

Synopsis: A doctor and alchemist who was heavily involved with Edgar’s abominable condition and now watches over him.

Full: Not much is known about Brenton’s earlier days prior to work – he’s even forgotten it himself as he felt it was inconsequential. What is known however is that he’s always strived to become a brilliant scientist, and will stop at nothing to achieve this. As he traveled across the land in his quest of chemical knowledge he was given an offer by shady people in hoods who promised him a way to practise his experimental techniques. Eager to test his skills in alchemy, Brenton accepted the offer with glee and followed the figures to a monestary in a town located approximately ten kilometers from the Hamlet. This, however, was no normal monestary; in the basement lied a secret sanitarium used for inhuman experimantations. Brenton was assigned to help work with a special ”patient”; a man by the name of Edgar, who they sought to turn into a living weapon. Brenton began to get to work, and he was unsettlingly efficient at what he did to the poor subject. With the green eldritch blood successfully injected into the subject’s veins, Brenton was assigned a task by one of the higher-end torturers to escort the poor sod to a miserable hamlet to test their creation and keep a very close eye on him. As much as Brenton hated babysitting, he was still morbidly curious as ever to see the ruined man in action. After all…What better laboratory than the blood-soaked battlefield? He soon packed his equipment, grabbed the subject by his chains, and stepped onto a wagon that would lead them to the hamlet.

Misc. Notes: (Special items, notable scars, scents, how they walk, or talk, etc.)
Brenton tends to act with much enthusiasm in whatever he does, and he usually wears a rather fake grin on his face most of the time to cover up his devilish nature. He usually reeks of antiseptics and gunpowder – side effects of his experimental concoctions. He always carries needles filled with sleep-inducing drugs in a pouch, in case Edgar would lose control in his beast-mode or if he needs to defend himself from a ruffian.

    Skills & Equipment

Weapons: Satchels with blinding and disorienting gasses used to disrupt enemies. He also has a thin whip, though he never uses it for combat and instead as “motivation” for Edgar.

Armor: None, only his medical robes.

Other gear: Goggles over his eyes used to protect himself from his own concoctions, several satchels and pouches on his belt with all sorts of ingrediants, and vials with experimental vapours he can use to invigorate teammates along with medicines to cure ailments.

Strengths: He has great knowledge of alchemical properties and can use his tonics to support his teammates or disrupt the enemy’s lines.

Camping abilities: Experimental vapours, Self-medicate, Wound care.

Weaknesses: Brenton is far too curious for his own good, which can lead to him laying his hands on things that would be best left untouched, or get involved with matters he should stay out of. He also has a lack of respect for other people, tending to see others as merely meat-shields or tools for his experimental treatments. He is also rather unafraid of letting people know if they annoy him, which can make him rather harsh in his words.
