    -Biography
    Quirks: Positive- Tough. Negative-Slow reflexes
    Synopsis: I was a self-proclaimed “holy knight” who sought to right the world’s wrongs through mercenary work. I came upon the Ancestor’s task, and decided to complete it (or try to).
    Full: I was born to a farming family that was highly religious. After working in the fields for 20 years, I said goodbye to my family and went off into the world with my family’s longsword. I worked as a mercenary, always introducing myself as a crusader, which I wasn’t, officially. Eventually, I could afford chainmail armor. I soon stumbled upon the Ancestor’s task. I decided that righteousness and glory could soon be found in that journey, so I boarded the stagecoach and went on my way to the Darkest Estate.
    Misc. Notes: Carries a necklace with a cross on it. (Special items, notable scars, scents, how they walk, or talk, etc.)

    SUPER IMPORTANT NOTE:
    The Crimson Court just came out! While there is a lot of exciting, new content that I’m sure you’re all inspired to implement into the RP as it stands, we haven’t had much time to digest or explore the lore that was just introduced to us. Please refrain from implemented any Crimson Court-related content, including the Flagellant, the vampires, and the Crimson Curse itself until further notice.

    It’s a bit difficult to tell who has been officially accepted and who has been put on temporary acceptance.
    If I did not mention your character on any of the following lists (provided they haven’t already been officially accepted) please poke me about it! I probably missed a few character sheets.

    Seems all good to me! I still need input from other mods, of course, but I don’t see anything that’d be radically changed.
    I’d personally like to see more details, especially in the face: face shape, eye shape, eye color, nose type, voice, etc. etc. etc. More info on the attire and gear, as well, would be excellent. What material is his necklace made of? What kind of footwear does he have, and does he wear gloves? Does he have anything to carry his belongings, like a bag or a satchel, or a sheath for his sword? What about clothes; does he always wear his chainmail everywhere, or does he take it off? What do the cotton clothes (I assume the cotton is made into a fabric) beneath the chainmail look like?

    Likewise, I’d also to know more about Metishook’s personality. Does he have any fears or deep desires? Favorite food, color, season? Is he a good leader, or does he work best with someone to give him structure? Is he greedy or selfless? What are his thoughts on magic, and do they differ whether it’s gotten from the Church or from the occult? Does he have any prejudices– is he sexist, racist, homophobic, etc.?

    These are just ideas for things you can add to beef up his character sheet, and you definitely don’t have to add everything! These are just some details that make a character more in-depth and enticing to RP with.

    I think she and Braund would count more as a boss due to their general villainy, and less of a character. This would mean she would go on the Bounty Board if you’d like to have characters actively plot to kill her from the get-go, or she would just be another NPC you’d introduce to a dungeon you were DMing (or convince some other DM to let you introduce her.)

    Of course, I’d still like to defer to the other mods, but these are my thoughts on it.

    -Shoru:
    Quirks seem unbalanced. Faithful is neutral, elusive and slugger are good, guilty conscience is kind of bad, but Unknown notes that it “can still resurface during times of stress with crippling effects” It only ever occurs when bad things happen.

    More details on the armor would be nice. How is his kimono reinforced? Does it have steel plates? Are there multiple layers? This is important for DMing in a narrative-based dungeon run.

    I’d also like to know if he has ever read his own scrolls? If he has, his quirks don’t seem to reflect the downsides that the scrolls have. He doesn’t seem to be insane (in his backstory, it is said that the tea caused his insanity, which would be reasonable if it were a rumor? But, again, it apparently subsided, and he does feel guilty over it. But it still isn’t reflected in his quirks.)

    The ‘ignorance is bliss’ part is a bit too vague to my liking, but I wouldn’t be too upset if it didn’t changed.
    His strengths also don’t reflect his backstory as much as I’d like them to. He can ‘easily dispose of human enemies,’ which is fair, considering his training, but how can he ‘decimate a horde of weaklings,’ and what kind of weaklings? The enemies in the Darkest Dungeon are entirely alien and otherworldy, and Himonu’s entire fighting experience is with the other monks in his temple. This wouldn’t really stress adaptability as much.

    It’d be fair for him to be a strong fighter, but I’d say it would be a stretch to say he can decimate a horde of ‘weaklings’ with his ‘master technique.’ And I’d definitely say it’s unreasonable for him to ‘effectively scout with more reasonable chances of surviving,’ when he’s lived on top of a mountain since infancy.

    Granted, some of this is addressed in his weaknesses with ‘His technique requires striking certain weakpoints which he can only find in humans, or human-like creatures.’ I feel like it should be stressed more, though.

    I’d also like to know in more detail what the ‘bad side effects’ of the scrolls are on others’ psyche.

    Age:27
    Sex:Male
    Physical Description: Sebastian is decently tall being around 5’11”, being very physically fit with a polite amount of muscle. Sun kissed tanned skin tone. He has piercing hazel eye color the majority of it being a mixture of green and brown. His blackish brown hair kept short on the top and closely trimmed on the sides,
    Attire: thick dark forest green coat(the length goes to mid-thigh),beneath the coat is a light leather vest adorned in black cloth,light leather pants the ends tucked into a pair of long leather boots, pair of leather gloves. He wears a long-sleeved grey cloth shirt beneath the vest, wears cloth undergarments beneath the pants, wears two rings on his left hand under his gloves, one is a simple silver wedding ring, the other made of iron with intricate engravings carved into it. A narrow hood is sewn into the collar of the coat, a worn cloth scarf it’s color matching to the long coat. A belt with a silver buckle.

    Quirks: Quick Reflexes, Natural Eye, Bad Gambler, Curious
    Synopsis:Sebastian Kurt had an enjoyable upbringing, he was born to normal parents, raised in a normal way, by his father, a skilled hunter of animals and also of men. Sebastian’s father taught him everything he knew about how to fight, hunt, trap, climb, track, and how to tactically outmaneuver his opponent. His father did something unusual with how he trained Sebastian about pursuing and or chasing down animals. He always made him wear a pack filled with heavy stones. Which in turn made Sebastian quite accustomed to carrying heavy loads, but also it made him quite fast.
    Sebastian’s mother taught him how to sew, cook, how to be charming(Which Sebastian being quite shy and a quiet man in the first place doesn’t fall back on this specific skill), and educated him on sciences, mathematics, and history. One unique skill that stands out among the rest is that his mother taught him sign language, even though she, herself was quite capable of hearing and speaking, she thought it necessary to at least have Sebastian know something that others may lack.
    After several years of training, Sebastian was 20, and went out into the world to look for work, in the form of bounties and other such affiliated jobs. After 7 years he’s continuing to keep up his work and his training as he travels around.

    Sebastian talks in a soft-spoken manner when first interactions with someone occurs, as time goes on he talks in a quite normal octave and tone.
    He walks around smoothly and quietly as if one was in the midst of a hunt.
    A small scar that sits under his chin, the tips of it barely crest onto the sides of his chin.
    Wears two rings on his left hand beneath his glove.
    Will happily talk in sign language if meeting another who uses it.
    He usually wears his hood to cover the upper portions of his face, the tip of it just cresting over his nose.
    -Skills & Equipment
    Weapons: A long dirk paired with a smaller dagger, 2 flintlock pistols
    Armor: Layered Cloth Coat, mainly leather armor with minor padding beneath it.Hardened Leather plates residing in the vest, and thicker leather pieces on the thigh and calf sections of the underside of the pants.
    Other gear:, two sheaths rest on either side and holster straps are tucked neatly behind the edge of the coat enough to be concealed. 2 supply pouches rest near the belt buckle

    Clance Darcy

    -Appearance
    Age: 31
    Sex: Male
    Physical Description: A very thin man, slightly underweight, Clance is taller than normal men, about 6’1. He wears a medium length haircut, although the hair towards the top of his head parts at the side and all hair lays on the other, curling towards his face.
    Clance does not have much body weight, but whatever he does have, is entirely muscle, a well toned and decently strong individual. His face is mousy in nature, although one of his eyelids is sunken as recent conning has brought Clance a missing eye and two missing fingers on his left hand, his ring finger and pinky finger. His nose is a button, his eyes large and expressive and many of his teeth are broken. His face is decently clean, but what may be accidentally identified as a splotch of dirt is actually a birthmark under his chin, about the size of babe’s fist.
    Attire:Clance wears decent clothing, keeping up his aesthetic of decent appearances. Hemp pants and a cotton undershirt covered by a cowskin longsleeve brown jacket with copper buttons adorn him, and from his fibourus belt hangs a mug and a ceramic cup, the open end covered in cheesecloth. His pants have a couple holes, patched with cloth just one shade off, making them stand out on the original pants. His boots look the most expensive on his body, clearly a higher class than the rest of his clothing. His pants are tucked into these boots and twine holds them there.

    -Biography

    Clance was once a good boy, the eldest of a 6 child family in the knolls of northern Europe, but circumstance turned him into a thief and a con artist. His father was a pig, marrying to his mother when he was 30 and she was 14, and Clance found that that story worked well with his poorness as a way to beg coins of traveling merchants and good Samaritans who felt they could spare some silver. Soon Clance started cutting purses, and then found himself working for “The Straw Man”, a crime boss who stole information and silver from those who could not guard their waists and waifs. Clance worked his way up the ladder, eventually getting very good at his job. But soon he realized that the money he sent to his family was not the same as working for their safety, how was money going to fix mother’s inability to hunt when his siblings are married or off to be playwrights? He used nearly all his funds to get rid of the records of his belonging to the Straw Man and went to see his mother. But he was a ghost, and found only a rotting cabin with 4 crosses outside. Clance realized only his sisters survived, and all were married off to faraway lands he will never get to. So he set off, and was found by The Straw Man’s cutthroats. They beat him, broke his teeth in and took his eye and fingers, leaving him to die, and that is when the caravan stopped to save him. But he had no family left, and after he healed he let the caravan take him to it’s destination.

    -Skills & Equipment
    Weapons: Many shivs, 2 throwing knives and steel loop that covers his knuckles on his right hand.
    Armor: Wears a leather chest piece and wristpeices, all covered by his jacket.
    Other gear: His boots are made with leather and the toes are covered in steel.
    Strengths: Clance is smart, not easy to read and deadly with the weapons he carries, he also is capable in hand to hand combat, in which he makes up for his lack of strength with his knuckle cover and steel toed boots.
    Weaknesses: Clance is not as strong as others, and some injuries sustained months before arriving to the Hamlet still take their toll, his ringing and missing fingers hurt him, and his sadness bogs him down in stressful situations, leading to breakdowns and refusal to make decisions under alot of pressure.

    Physical Description: Clean shaved, round face with a few minor scars – much less than one would expect from a seasoned highwayman. His facial features were toned – small nose, thin lips and ears almost glued to the skull. His black hair was kept short. What stood out in it were the two eyes, cold blue. His stare was deep like the sea and dead serious. Grom was of rather skinny build, leaning on the tall side.
    Attire: A thick, brown overcoat that seen better days. Simple leather trousers and boots. A blue neckerchief.

    Quirks:

    Steady – Cold blooded, he rarely loses his cool.
    Evasive – Quick on his feet, he rarely gives his opponents an opportunity.
    On Guard – One of the reasons he’s good at his job.

    Absolution – …Never again.
    Lazy Eye – That damned contraption is more of a necessity rather than an asset.
    Mercurial – In his mind is a dam, keeping it from flooding with sorrows. And when it finally breaks…

    Strengths: Ruthless and effective, he will never hesitate to play dirty. Combined with his agility, he is deadly in close quarters combat. Alert to his surroundings, he is difficult to surprise and quick to react. His weapons are small and thus easily concealable and quick to draw, but still deadly. Has nerves of steel that don’t break in all but the most dire of situations.

    Weaknesses: Bad aim with the pistol. Slow to trust and make friends. The small caliber of his weaponry causes him trouble with armored enemies. Does not value human life, his own included (exceptions may arise).
