    She’s probably going to be a nexus exclusive for a week or two before I put her up on the steam workshop. I’m very tempted to pm you a link to the working playtest version on the nexus forums. Very tempted. For testing and feedback purposes, obviously :p.

    Is there a way to put a mod up on the nexus, keep it private and still allow certain people to access it? She’s currently playable but not quite ready for release just yet. Very close now ‘though.

    According to the Red Hook guys … Spine Essentials should be capable of doing all we need for mods without needing the more expensive versions. Now while I’m absolutely not going to recommend we go and redo anything that’s already finished it might be worth thinking about in the future.

    I appear to have recieved new defence files. Sadly she seems to be even smaller now. I don’t know what happened but it’s odd.

    i don’t think spine essentials will work unless they changed it from last time I saw and allow for you to edit meshes. That’s the only reason that made me consider the pro version since the essential does not work with meshes (which the characters use for their walk, combat, idle animations, and effects animation.)

    Sigh, I will have to look into it because i didn’t change much. All I did was make her legs go in some more so it could fit in the hellions sprite.

    Well Scorpiodaeven is mucking about with Spine Essentials now. I’ve been following his progress and hopefully we’ll know if he can work out idle, combat & walk animations. In the meantime I’ve been giving your new skill icons a try. They’re great but you seem to be doing icons for the second/alternate skill set instead of the first/primary skill set. That’s okay but I do seem to be focussing on the primary skill set for now. I’m planning on putting up a showcase video some time soon. If I do, I’ll put a link to it in this thread (among other places).

    It’s not that you can’t make idle, and combat poses, it’s just that you can’t use meshes (which are what makes the images bend and look a little more organic.) Also IK constraints are not included in the essential version which makes animating a lot harder. About the image set, sorry I was working on the primary ones too but I ended up working on them last for some odd reasons. i am still debating about the spin attack so that icon is on hold for now.

    That’s alright. Thanks for keeping me up to date ;).

    I should really get on to that video some time soon shouldn’t I? Or would you rather I wait ’til we have a few more art assets ready? I wouldn’t show off the spinning attack, just describe what it’s supposed to do, explain that it’s using placeholder art assets and not show it off. That’s the current plan anyway.

    Useful to know about the spine differences as well.

    Great video. I now have something I can use for referencing. At this point I might as well draw a different dodge pose. I will also see if I can adjust some of her other images.

    Edit: I just added some icons. If you like you can use the icon you are using for glimmer of hope for the insight icon and use icon 8 for glimmer of hope.
