    While I appreciate your desire to make the Highwayman a viable party member who doesn’t just die as soon as anything looks at him I don’t really have the ability to help very much. I can tell you that you can’t force a skill to move a character to a specific rank (beyond forwards 3/backwards 2 etc). Actually if you made the skill only available from one position then you could have the move portion shove him to the rank you want but I suspect you want it to be usable from many positions.

    I know it’s been a long time but the Twilight Knight has finally been released for the playing public. I’d like to give a very big thankyou to everyone who helps create this mod.

    So very nearly done. At this point I believe all I need to do is finish 2 more pieces of trinket art, double check the dialogue barks, learn how to use the Nexus uploader, write a decent mod description (with comprehensive credits for everyone involved), and sort out a release announcement video. Once all that’s done she should be appearing both on the Nexus and the Steam Workshop relatively simultaneously. Hopefully it should all be done within the next few days.

    Yeah. Strip it all out then add files back in one at a time. Load the save, see if you get the error message, close the game and repeat with the next file. Once you finally get your error message you’ll know that the latest file you added was the one that needs to be fixed.

    Check the anim & skel files have the same class name as the art sprites. Also check the fx files all have the same file name as well.

    “Sever the weakened limb; the protected foe.”

    From this I suspect she might have a way to bypass Guards. That would certainly bring a new mechanic into the game and change the dynamic in a rather drastic way. Lots of people are thinking she’ll bypass Protection but she might interact with the Guard mechanic in some way as well. even if it’s only attacks that break Guards (without stunning) that would still be an interesting new mechanic.

    They never did the affliction or virtue sprites. Some of the bandages are missing from the arms and legs in some of the action sprites. It’s an incomplete skin and it’s verging on the pornographic. The quality of the art is quite in keeping with the Darkest Dungeon style, however (subject matter aside).

    While I don’t know about trinkets being mutually exclusive I know it’s not possible to have a trinket change the character skin.

    In all honesty if we get get the Whirlwind Attack & Defence sprite finalised then I can handle the rest. In the case of the whirlwind attack sprite it’s basically a case of finishing off the belts and making the plate on her sleeve match the others. While it would be nice to make the head larger it’s a lot of extra work and would involve lots of redrawing which would only end in artist fatigue.

    Have you seen the current placeholder sprite? I’ll stick it in a separate subfolder so you can easily see it. I am incredibly grateful for all the work you’ve done on this project. I’ll probably drop you an email some time soon.

    It turns out someone on Steam is working on a Scholar mod with a very similar theme and a lot of remarkably similar skills. I’ve got in touch and we now seem to bw working together on this so hopefully something positive will come out of it that we both like.
